BiH has ordered vaccines through the COVAX mechanism, which should cover the vaccination of 20 percent of the population, and the purchase of additional quantities of vaccines has been announced. In accordance with the relevant COVAX procedures, vaccines will be gradually delivered to countries, as they receive certificates/permits for use from the World Health Organization, the European Medicines Agency and the medicines agency of the particular country. In the case of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the procurement of vaccines is coordinated by the Ministry of Civil Affairs.
