Japanese-headquartered firm and the Ministry of Energy of Mongolia will deploy three, 600kW NAS batteries for peak shifting and storage services as the country weans itself from its reliance on coal power. The operation is due to begin next spring in Uliastai, Zavkhan Province, Mongolia.
