Gagnon mentioned that last week he had presented to Serpent River First Nation’s band council to inform them of the city’s plan to build a new arts and culture hub that would replace the contents of the civic centre. “It was well-received,” Gagnon said, adding that the band council has appointed a councillor to sit on the project’s steering committee.
