Finland confirms 100 coronavirus variant cases

A total of 100 mutated coronavirus cases have been detected in Finland, Taneli Puumalainen, chief physician at the Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) cofirmed at a joint press conference on Tuesday. However, Puumalainen noted that cases of the coronavirus variants do not appear to be spreading uncontrollably in the country and that transmission chains had been traced to their origins.
