Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has ruled out any action against minister K S Eshwarappa, against whom police have booked a case for abetting the suicide of contractor Santosh Patil, until preliminary inquiry is completed.
The family of contractor Santosh Patil on Thursday said that they were not bothered about Minister K S Eshwarappa’s resignation and demanded his arrest. The minister will submit his resignation to the Karnataka CM on Friday.

Contractor Santhosh Patil was found dead at a lodge in Udupi in a case of suspected suicide. The complaint by Prashanth named minister Eshwarappa and his staff members Ramesh and Basavaraj as the accused.
