ANTARA FOTO/Dedhez Anggara Indramayu, West Java (ANTARA) - Marine Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) Minister Sakti Wahyu Trenggono echoed the government s decision to import salt during a recent meeting organized by the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment. A decision to import salt was taken at a meeting of the coordinating minister for maritime affairs and investment, Trenggono noted here on Sunday.
The minister confirmed to still be awaiting data related to the salt demand in Indonesia. In the event of any shortage of salt, the commodity will be imported. Salt imports are also conducted in accordance with the trade balance, so that the domestic demand for salt can be met.

– ASEAN needs to set up an anti-fake news task force, while developing a regional
guideline and shared platform for prompt information sharing, proposed a
Vietnamese official at a seminar held in Jakarta, Indonesia on January 20.
Making the proposal, Trieu Minh Long, Director General of
the Ministry of Information and Communications’ Department of International
Cooperation, reviewed a number of
fake news prevention measures conducted by
bloc members.

establishing agencies in charge of online news or anti-fake news centres,

Council on January 19 held a routine consultation on the situation in Cyprus
and activities of the UN Peacekeeping Force there (UNFICYP).
