The leader of the Thai Civilized Party has asked anti-corruption police to investigate executives of the State Railway of Thailand (SRT) and others over the 33-million baht contract for the new nameplate and logo redesign of Bang Sue Grand Station.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) from Monday will require visitors whose next destinations require proof of a negative Covid-19 test to show health insurance coverage worth at least US$10,000.
At a cost of 33 million baht, the nameplate and logo redesign for Bang Sue Grand Station has triggered public suspicion that requires not only a clear explanation from the State Railway of Thailand and the Transport Ministry but also prompt and thorough scrutiny from related agencies.
The number of passengers entering and leaving the country via all modes of transportation increased sharply throughout last year when compared to the previous year, according to the Transport Ministry.
