The economic and investment plan for the Western Balkans also contains financial support for achieving Green Agenda goals in the region, worth €9 billion in grants, said Serbian EU Integration Minister Jadranka Joksimović on Tuesday.
Serbia is “not a school for ducklings” and is actually “fundamentally closer” in the process of EU integration, the country’s EU Integration Minister Jadranka Joksimović told a plenary session of the National Convention on the EU on Thursday.
This year, Serbia demonstrated efficiency, economic strength, care for its citizens and solidarity with everyone in the region, Joksimović added.
“We have not undermined the rule of law in Serbia in any way,” said the minister, adding that there were perhaps delays in the reforms and that more could have been done, but that Serbia was dedicated to EU integration.
The government and President Aleksandar Vučić have done more for the European process since 2014 than anyone in the past 15 years, she added.
