Covid deaths appear declining, but working people still on the road

After playing havoc for the last nine days, Covid19 death rate appears to be declining. The picture however would be clear only tomorrow when the GMC bulletin reports deaths of the second half of the day.
In the last nine and a half days, Goa has reported 532 deaths against 346 deaths occured in the entire month in April.
GMC releases a mortality bulletin every day with the deaths reported till today afternoon and of the previous day till midnight.
There was a sudden spurt in the number of deaths from the first day of the month. While deaths reported in April were between 21 to 30 every day, May 1st came as a shock with 55 people succumbing to the deadly virus.

As a mark of respect to the fallen soldiers, buglers played the last post, and police contingents paid compliments by reversing their arms. They later presented an armed salute as a mark of respect.
