Ten people prosecuted for illegally transporting VND30 trillion overseas
The Hanoi City police have caught ten people illegally transporting nearly VND30 trillion overseas, the local media reported.
The Hanoi City Party Committee Secretary has praised the Investigative Police Agency of the city for busting this illegal money transport racket.
Vuong Dinh Hue said this is a great achievement of the Hanoi Investigative Police Agency in the fight against crimes and in protecting the country’s security and social order and ensuring peace and happiness for the people.
This is also special in the city s effort to fight crimes and ensure security and social order before the thirteenth National Congress of the Communist Party commences.
A 20-year-old man is the first person to be provided with Made-in-Vietnam Nanocovax vaccine at the Military Medical Academy in Hanoi on December 17.

HANOI: Vietnam on Thursday started the first trial Covid-19 vaccine shots on volunteers.
Three people were given the made-in-Vietnam Covid-19 vaccine at the Hanoi-based Military Medical Academy this morning, December 17.
The volunteers were provided with Nanocovax, a Covid-19 vaccine developed by Nanogen Pharmaceutical Biotechnology JSC.
Dr To Minh Sy, Nanogen Pharmaceutical Biotechnology JSC’s director for research and development, said that the volunteers have to stay at the immunisation room for at least 30 minutes for monitoring. They were instructed how to recognise possible reactions after the injection. The interval between the first and second injection will be 28 days.

Vietnam will select 60 among 200 volunteers to be injected with Nanocovax, the first made-in-Vietnam Covid-19 vaccine approved for human trials, from Thursday.
Nguyen Ngo Quang, deputy head of the Administration of Science, Technology and Training under the Ministry of Health, confirmed around 200 people had signed up within a week to be vaccinated with Nanocovax, a Covid-19 vaccine developed by Nanogen Pharmaceutical Biotechnology JSC.

Reporting to Vietnam Military Medical University (VMMU) in Hanoi early Thursday morning, Anh, 25, agreed to become the country s first human subject for Nanocovax, a Covid-19 vaccine developed by Nanogen Pharmaceutical Biotechnology JSC.
First phase human trials would require 60 volunteers, of whom 30 had signed up as of Thursday morning at VMMU, through the phone, by email or via Nanogen s official website.
