Gary Austion, from Mind Ya Marras, is proud to wear the shirt promoting mental health awareness, designed by Ryan Dodgson Almost one year on from launching a range of shirts for mental health awareness, more than £5,000 has been raised for charities across West Cumbria. Ryan Dodgson designed a range of sports shirts in July 2020, featuring the clear and simple message, Mental Health Awareness , in a bid to remind all in the sports community and beyond that it s okay not to be okay. The scheme has been supported and sponsored by union Unite and OneAIM, and more than 15 clubs in Copeland and Allerdale have got on board, including rugby league, rugby union, football, boxing, cricket, and even community club, Mind Ya Marras – which offers mental health support for all in the Whitehaven area.
