a lot of trouble if you can t find a way to engage a lot of people who feel disaffected. bruce is right. you end up having on the one hand change happening very rapidly, too rapidly for a big portion of the population for another portion of the population, it s like, you know, how long are we going to keep having to defer this dream? you can see they just get along. it s a mind melt. and who knew they would hit it off? well, we have the answer. the first time i think the four of us got together. right. we come out afterwards and michelle says, you know, you need to spend more time with bruce. i said why is that? she says, you know, he understands all his failings and flaws as a man, and you don t seem to understand as well just exactly how messed up you are. so you need to how did you respond to that?
of this mind melt of the republican base and even the persuasive evidence that he tried to extort ukraine into interfering in our politics on his behalf, even that evidence is not breaking the republican support for trump. max boot, great to have you here. happy thanksgiving. you, too, ana. thank you for making time for us. thanksgiving just wouldn t be thanksgiving without the macy s day parade, right? and thankfully mother nature came through. the balloons are flying. let s get right out to cnn s miguel marquez. before we all, you know, gobble until we wobble, it s all about the parade. how is it going out there? well, we re having a parade. hey, look. the balloons are flying. this is the first time for the astronaut snoopy. it s up in the air. look at the number of handlers taking care of it. come over here because they ll run over us here in a second. they have so many handlers. they re staying low to the ground. snoopy is almost dragging on the ground. they re holding hi
jeff, you and donald trump having a mind melt here? we never have a mind melt. throughout the campaign, we raised a concern about the role of the dnc and tipping the scales for hillary clinton s campaign. and i think this just validates what many of us already knew about what was happening. certainly, we did not know of a formal agreement to have this going on, but we saw throughout the campaign whether it was a joint fund raising agreement but you had one. you chose not to use it. we didn t have donors to give $365,000 to the democratic party. in that regard, the money hillary clinton was raising was supposed to go to the democratic party and never ended up there. i think there s reporting that 1% of the money ended one the state party. bernie sanders, on the other hand, raised $5 million that went right to down ballot democrats at the state and local level. he was helping democrats up and down the ballot, but not through the dnc organization giving the money to the clinton ca
me, he said, all my life, i have felt threatened by america and if there is a war, a nuclear war, he said, he believes that north korea and the north koreans could survive. that mika. keir simmons, thank you very much. joe, a couple things that come to mind here, first of all, they re saying what the president is thinking, is president is mentally ill. it s considered inappropriate to say. i was going to say, mika, you have a mind melt with people in north korea. well, look, there is definitely a lot lacking from his personality. my biggest concern that i think appropriate to say is if you think about the missions we have, in places like niger and there is no way that president trump has the intellectual capacity to even understand what we are doing, which i think brings the possibility of war even closer to the war front. i think we re in a very dangerous place. i think the president is a very
strategy and my heart is so broken over this. they re headed back on the road to do more rallies. he does seem driven by defeating enemies more than building a better country. yes. i think that s a not what this country needs right now. so when he was at breitbart, he was about trying to take down paul ryan. yeah. for whatever reason that was. now when he s in there and trump has that style has that personality. yeah. it s about your enemies, you know, the press is the enemy. that s right. his enemies are the enemy of the american public. that s where they have a mind melt and he grants this ideological superstructure to trump s, you know, personality. the ironic thing is, there are things in the breitbart tool kit if repurposed could be useful. one of the big messages supposed debates of 2016 was that the united states republicans needed a more middle class economic message. right. more emphasis on preserving some kind of social insurance state,
