The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal shooting that happened at Johnsons Park on Milwaukee's northwest side on Monday evening, May 31.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) Milwaukee police say a 52-year-old Milwaukee man was found dead inside a van near 79th and Silver Spring on Monday, May 17.
Police say officers dispatched to the scene around 11:30 a.m. for a suspicious vehicle that had a foul odor emanating from it.
The cause of death is under investigation.

MILWAUKEE â Milwaukee police confirm protesters shut down northbound I-43 near West North Avenue in Milwaukee Monday evening, leading to traffic delays.
MPD said in a statement that officers were monitoring a group of protesters in the area of North MLK Drive and West Chambers. The group protested on city streets and moved onto westbound West Center from MLK Drive.
From there, several people from the group walked onto northbound lanes of I-43 West Locust and West Keefe, police said.
Milwaukee County Sheriff s deputies arrived and shut down traffic. Milwaukee police assisted the Sheriff s Department with traffic control only, MPD says.

Through baseball history there are plenty of teams that stumbled out of the gate and went on to win championships. Even teams that didn’t have a lot of expectations, as these Cubs didn’t.
