Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson’s office has clarified that Milwaukee Votes 2022 is a privately funded and nonpartisan initiative designed to encourage voting and register voters. The lawsuit was dismissed on Monday by Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Kristy Yang.
