One of their most popular volunteers is 2-year-old labradoodle Rocco, a trained therapy dog. Rocco is popular with children, who sit with him and stroke his coat, which is calming, or sit quietly reading. Strutt said schools did an amazing job, but didn’t have enough people on the ground. They aim to be reliable and compassionate, so they can connect with the children and have fun. “If the kids don t get an education, life is going to get hard.
