WOOSTER Vaccine clinics are quickly becoming available across Wayne County for children as young as 12.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration amended its emergency use authorization of the Pfizer vaccine last week, allowing the COVID-19 vaccine to be administered to children 12 years and older.
Milltown Family Physicians has switched over entirely to the Pfizer vaccine so it can cater to the younger population as well as adults. The practice also is making vaccine appointments more convenient starting on Thursdays with times available between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. Anyone over the age of 12 can sign up to get the vaccine.
Appointments are also available Thursday during the day and Fridays between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
