Fort Mill Schools are asking for prayers for the guard’s family and telling people to be careful when going through school zones, especially during drop off and dismissal times.
The district raised issues of staffing, supplies and adequate space to educate students at the currently shuttered facility by July 1, though Clock Tower representatives indicated it would not accept students until an educational piece is in place.
The Pennsylvania Department of Human Services reached a settlement that will allow a new reform school to operate at the former Glen Mills School. Clock Tower Schools, under DHS supervision and oversight, can open for 20 court-ordered boys under a provisional license.

Given the horrendous treatment that allegedly occurred at Glen Mills juvenile detention center, it’s no wonder former students have reported fearing for their lives at the institution.
“I can’t breathe,” a 17-year-old student could be heard saying in an assault – caught on surveillance video – that led to two of the school’s counselors facing criminal charges in September 2018, according to
