MILLOM Co-op have donated £200 to a local community education group. The supermarket donated the funds to Millom STEM group which works with schools to offer support, education, and training on STEM subjects. Co-op store manager Faye Hoggarth said the shop chose to give the donation after visiting Millom Network Centre, home of the STEM group. She said: “On a visit to the centre I noticed the trophies, awards that George and Tony put into the sessions and felt they would really benefit from a little help. “The projects they run are so interesting and are lots of fun for the young adults attending whilst they are also learning at the same time.
