To The Truck Driver On I-80, Thanks For The Laugh!
I am not a morning person. Some people probably love their morning drive, sipping coffee, and listening to the radio sounds great, but I ve never been that person. Today however my morning started off great thanks to a small joke a semi driver had on his truck.
If you re a fan of Disney I m sure this joke will make you smile too.
As I was driving on I-80 today I saw something hanging off of a semi, and was confused as to what it was. Once I noticed, I had my friend who I car pool with grab a video! Thankfully we got it just in time to share this funny moment.
Artistic Events Are Starting To Come Back In The Quad Cities
Art is for anyone, you can do it for fun, or work on it as a skill, and make it your job. One thing many people were sad to see as things closed down was the lack of artistic events happening. Sadly COVID stopped a lot of projects from musicals, plays, art shows, and studio work.
As 2021 continues however, we are seeing more events take place!
One Event taking place this weekend is the flower pot painting party. Any and everyone is welcome.

Now I know what you re thinking. You think I ve gone mad. How could I be saying that a gas station s food is incredible. Well this isn t any normal gas station food, this is Shell s chicken strips. They are cheap, and they are good!
This Shell station is a quick walk from the our station, and someone in the building told me about the chicken. Long story short I fell in love!
You may not believe me and that s fine, but this chicken is the perfect mix of not too hard and not too soft. Also look how much you get! All that for just about $5! You re not finding that anywhere.
