Jefferson food service workers honored for work during pandemic
When the world seemed to shut down March of last year Jenn Raymond-Brown and her team pushed their work into overdrive to continue feeding students and families of Jefferson School District.
Raymond-Brown, Food Service Director at Jefferson Schools, is being honored as a Michigan Food Hero, a campaign started by Michigan dairy farmers to recognize food service workers in schools across the state who went above and beyond to feed students throughout the pandemic. The school will be awarded a $2500 grant to purchase supplies and continue their work to feed those in need.
