Marshalltown Teachers Accused Of Sexually Exploiting Students A Marshalltown teacher is accused of having inappropriate contact with a student. Police took 42-year-old Adam Edgington of Nevada into custody Wednesday after he turned himself into authorities. Authorities charged Edgington with sexual exploitation by a school employee, then released him from custody. In a press release, Marshalltown police said they started their investigation on June 23. Authorities indicated that s when they learned of the allegations concerning a potential improper relationship between an adult male and a 13-year-old student.
