A CSX train has derailed in Cincinnati, Ohio. CSX An area where a train derailed on Jan. 24 is still being cleaned. A remote-controlled CSX train derailed on a railroad bridge in Cincinnati, Ohio. Residents called in a butane leak, but when the Cincinnati Fire Department arrived at the scene they discovered the dismembered train. Seven train cars left the tracks, but all of them were empty. The derailment did bring down power lines and diesel fuel leaked from the locomotive. Officials say about 1,000 gal of diesel spilled onto the street below the bridge. First responders were able to control the leak, and the Metropolitan Sewer District activated the Millcreek Dam to stop diesel fuel from reaching the Ohio River.
