MILLBURY Despite battling educational obstacles created by the COVID-19 pandemic, the school district’s midyear report card using the new i-Ready testing tool indicates student grade-level skills continue to improve.
I-Ready testing done last year provided a “benchmark’’ for student assessment so teachers could target and concentrate on specific student needs throughout the school year, instead of finding gaps at the end of the school year.
This data is even more important to analyze and target in real time’ throughout the school year due to the learning disruptions caused by COVID-19, School Superintendent Greg Myers told the School Committee on March 24.
