A young man apologised to a sheriff for subjecting him to a tirade of abuse at a previous hearing.
It happened after Liam Long s demand last month that he be jailed immediately was rejected by Sheriff Andrew Berry.
After he was told that he was to be remanded, Long repeatedly insisted on the instant sentence, unleashing a tirade of abuse the sheriff described as outrageous and disgraceful .

Public health minister Mairi Gougeon said testing had been extended for a further month following the success of the initial trial.
A pilot scheme providing Covid-19 testing from Thurso fire station has been extended until the end of February.
Testing will continue to be available from both the Thurso station and its counterpart at Lochgilphead, Argyll and Bute, until February 26 in partnership with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS).
