Why you might have seen fire engines in Brighouse today ANYONE who was out in Brighouse today may have seen fire crews on Mill Royd Street. The team at Rastrick fire station was called out to reports of a fire in the open but upon arrival found it was an electrical fire. The fire has been put out but crews remain the area this afternoon. Fire fighters will be working with the electric board to make sure the issue is fixed and area remains safe. A spokesperson from the station said: It was external of the building. It s a fault somewhere with the actual cables. It s a derelict building.
