3rd suspect accused in 2018 homicide; Bethlehem victim was stabbed, burned alive

In 2018, 18-year-old Tyrell Holmes was brutally killed. The young man from Bethlehem was repeatedly stabbed then set on fire, his burning body left next to a dumpster near the Parkhurst Apartments on Barbara Street.
A day earlier, investigators say, he had identified three people he feared would kill him. “Save those names. If something happens to me know those 3,” he reportedly said in the Snapchat message.
Two men were charged in 2019 in connection with his slaying. Now, a third also has been charged.
Alkiohn Dunkins, of Allentown, is the latest to face charges of homicide, arson, kidnapping and related counts in Holmes’s death, which prosecutors say was related to gang activity. Dunkins was arraigned Thursday and held without bail.
Bethlehem-based Money Rules Everything gang member pleads guilty in racketeering case

A member of the Bethlehem-based Money Rules Everything gang has pleaded guilty in a racketeering case brought in Lehigh County.
Zahmire Welcome, previously of Freemansburg, was one of five gang members charged in connection with criminal activities, including homicide.
On Wednesday, the 22-year-old Welcome pleaded guilty to a conspiracy charge. He is scheduled to be sentenced Feb. 1, and the plea deal includes a time-served sentence.
Chief Deputy District Attorney Bethany Zampogna said the sentencing range would nearly 21 months by next month’s hearing. Welcome has been in prison on $1 million bail in the case since April 2019.
