ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) The winter solstice occurred at 5:02 this morning so we are now officially into astronomical winter.
Not a lot happening today with just a few snow showers tomorrow.
Mild Wednesday into Thursday with temps into the 40s and 50s.
Rain arrives on Christmas Eve but ends as snow as colder air moves in late in the day and at night. Even though Christmas Eve starts warm and wet we may see a White Christmas after all with a good chance of snow early on Friday morning and then cold weather into next weekend with local lake effect snow.
