An investigation found that Davis was wearing the same clothes as the suspect who shot Loncar just hours before. Davis was later identified as the gunman, police said.

Derrick Wood, Davis has two open felony cases and was on the streets as a result of his bail being reduced after being charged with armed kidnapping and assault on Dec. 29 just two weeks prior to allegedly killing Loncar, according to court records
