The sense of responsibility to serve the people of Queensland remains at the heart of who UQ is and what we do every day. This is a responsibility UQ is reaffirming with a new initiative called The Queensland Commitment. To celebrate the launch of The Queensland Commitment, Contact spoke to Queenslanders across all stages of their educational journey about what their education and their state means to them.
The Queensland Commitment returns UQ to its roots as The University of and for Queensland. It re-emphasises that UQ is a place for everybody: no matter who you are, where you’re from, or what challenges you’ve faced, you can pursue your ambitions at UQ.
