Management consultancy PwC Australia has announced its mid-year partnership intake with the appointment of six new Cybersecurity and Digital Trust partners including four women.
The Cybersecurity and Digital Trust partner admissions include two external and four internal promotions for the year to July 2021, with biotechnologist, Cyber Policy expert and previous Director of the Australian Risk Policy Institute, Pip Wyrdeman joining PwC Australia’s Cybersecurity and Digital Trust team from Providence Consulting.
Wyrdeman has over 15 years experience in ICT Security policy and cyber security and was formerly Senior Cyber Security policy adviser at the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet.

A MUSICIAN who has made an important contribution to making Hexham a hotspot for traditional music has received prestigious recognition. David Oliver has finally been appointed as the town’s Honorary Steward and Bailiff for 2020 - a year later than originally planned due to the coronavirus pandemic. The historic title is awarded annually by Hexham Town Council, to recognise, thank and celebrate those special people who contribute to making Hexham a vibrant and happy community. Traditionally, the award would be presented at the Mayor s Annual Reception, but it was cancelled last March due to the pandemic, and could not take place this year either.
