Christians are remembering the legacy of a man known as “Africa’s Billy Graham”, who passed away last week.
Stephen Lungu died on January 18 at the age of 78, after contracting COVID-19.
Eternity News reports, Mr Lungu led thousands of people to faith in Jesus, and became head of the evangelistic African Enterprise organisation.
Former African Enterprise Australia CEO Mike Woodall worked with Mr Lungu throughout the 1990s and 2000s, and has told Vision Radio he was incredibly passionate about Jesus.
“It never stopped and every day he felt was a wasted day unless he’d brought someone to Christ, so he was quite an exceptional person,” Mr Woodall says.
