Trump has rallied his supporters with evidence-challenged claims that widespread voter fraud and irregularities cost him a second term in office, and demonstrators Wednesday are expected to rally around the mantra of “Stop the Steal.”
The president is also expected to make an appearance at 11 a.m. Wednesday to rally supporters in person, tweeting that he s anticipating “BIG CROWDS.”

WASHINGTON We’re fast approaching the end of 2020. A year that at times has felt like one of the longest or our lives. A testing period filled with moments that pulled and twisted at the very fabric of our society. A pulling and twisting that found its way onto our streets, and into our homes.
Starting out like any other, we began to learn what 2020 was going to be about on March 7th. That was day that D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser announced that COVID had made its way to the District and life as we knew it changed seemingly overnight.

Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam announced new coronavirus restrictions Thursday and urged people of faith to stay out of their churches during the Christmas season.
“This year, we need to think about what is truly the most important thing. Is it the worship or the building?” Northam said at a press conference. “For me, God is wherever you are. You don’t have to sit in the church pew for God to hear your prayers.”
He urged faith leaders to “lead the way” and “set an example” for their communities.
“Worship with a mask on is still worship, worship outside or worship online is still worship,” Northam said.
