CLEVELAND, OH Tribe left hander Logan Allen took the bump for the Cleveland Indians on Sunday afternoon against the Tigers in the final game of the weekend series, and got off to a bit of a shaky start. Allen gave up an early run and was staring at the bases loaded with Jonathan Schoop in the batter s box looking to break the game wide open. Much like his first start of the season, Allen was able to tip toe out of the inning with limited damage. The tribe bats stayed hot into Sunday, as they roped in 5 total runs in a 5-2 win over the Tigers to complete the three game sweep.
Cleveland Indians dropped their season home opener with a 3-0 loss to the Kansas City Royals at Progressive Field. The Indians will take today off before hosting the Royals again on Wednesday afternoon.

With a stand your ground law, the burden shifts to the prosecutor to prove the shooting was not justified. Republican lawmakers and gun rights groups praised DeWine for signing the “stand your ground” bill. Proponents of the law say this legislation simply aligns Ohio with most other states in the country.
