Alex Lasry, senior vice president of the Milwaukee Bucks, said that during his campaign for Sen. Ron Johnsonâs seat heâs prioritizing places that have been neglected by the major political parties.
âThe biggest thing is showing up,â Lasry said during an interview with the Baraboo News Republic Thursday afternoon in the lobby of Ho-Chunk Gaming Wisconsin Dells. Thatâs why some of the first county-level political groups he visited â virtually â at the start of his campaign were from Sauk and Barron County, he noted.
âWeâre going to make sure that weâre going to places that Democrats and Republicans have neglected, because I think what people are looking for is feeling ⦠that they have a voice in government and that someone who is in the Senate is actually working for them and is a voice for them in D.C,â he said.

Vrabel and JRob know them and their qualifications much better than us, the fans, but the numbers don t lie, and neither have a great track record at the positions they ve been given. I don t have a question about either coach because I know already what they bring to the table. I only hope they surprise us all. I felt as though the Titans were right on the cusp of greatness, now I worry that with these two uninspiring promotions, square one could be at hand once again.
Trump Supporters Hold Rallies at California and Nevada Capitols
Rally-goers gathered in front of the California State Capitol as well as the Nevada State Capitol on Jan. 6 to support President Donald Trump and call for election integrity.
The rallies took place on the same day that Congress convened to count electoral votes in the nation’s capital.
In Sacramento, attendees who had traveled from different parts of California shared their comments with Epoch Times reporters.
Peter Kuo, who is originally from Taiwan, is currently vice chairman of the California Republican Party. He was at the Sacramento rally.
“What I’m seeing right here in our government, especially here in California, it’s exactly the same as Taiwan 38 years ago where the government [was] just changing the rules as they go,” Kuo told The Epoch Times.
