Thats right. You know, it sound like were not going to have one of those big ones here in the mountains. Im told that the little problems can become big problems later on when the heavier rains arrive. The so the time to act on this Erosion Control and other mitigation efforts here in the fire zone is right now. Lets take a look. Be. This soil is now a mixture of ash, and vegetation. Add a little rain and there is nothing to hold that soil in place. Look at this. The landscape for long stretches on either side and other mountains roads are burned clean. Even a moderate amount of rain could cause problems here. Part of this fire burned very intensely and there are potential risks to infrastructure, homes and roads, bridges,ets. Reporter they are already at work on what it calls suppression repair. They are focuses on focusing on disturbed areas which can trigger a mud slide, threatening lives increasing the potential for one disaster on top of another. Now, without any surface protectio
