ROCKFORD – It finally happened; Rockford residents from near and far
gathered downtown on Saturday to greet one another, catch up on the past
year and enjoy the food stands, petting zoo and sidewalk sale promoted
by the area businesses.
It was all about “Spring Fest” on
Saturday, kicking off numerous events and activities to celebrate the
Rockford Bicentennial that was to have occurred last year before the
severe COVID outbreak dampened the celebration.
