PCA to host 26th annual auction

Portsmouth Herald DOVER Portsmouth Christian Academy will hold its 26th Annual Auction virtually this Saturday, March 20, at 10 a.m., featuring over a hundred items from gifts, vacations, and services up for bid. The PCA community has come together to offer exclusive getaways, art pieces, services, and romantic lighthouse dinners to raise support for tuition assistance for families whose financial situation demonstrates need.  Open to the public, this year’s auction will be broadcast live in support of COVID-19 protocols. Portsmouth Christian announces 8 COVID cases DOVER Portsmouth Christian Academy at Dover announced eight positive COVID-19 cases at the school since last Friday. There have been six positive cases at PCA’s Upper School - which houses grades 9-12 - as well as two cases from other staff members, officials said in a statement released Thursday night in response to inquiries from Foster’s Daily Democrat. “Based on review of these cases, school officials cannot determine a nexus of transmission on campus,” PCA officials said. “All affected individuals are continuing to rest and recover off-site, each with varying degrees of symptoms. All contact tracing and close contact notifications for these individuals have been assessed and completed.”
