Gholston, a former Michigan State standout and Detroit native, had two tackles, including a sack, while playing 25 defensive snaps as the Buccaneers (10-5) routed the Lions 47-7 on Saturday at Ford Field to clinch their first playoff berth since 2007. The Michigan State fifth-year senior defensive tackle announced via Twitter on Wednesday afternoon he is entering the 2021 NFL draft. Although Jones is in his fourth season on the field for the Spartans, the NCAA in August granted all fall sports athletes an additional year of eligibility due to the coronavirus pandemic. Jones won’t be taking it.
