A statement on Wednesday by the spokesman for the command, SP Asinim Butswat, said the suspect was nabbed by detectives following a tip-off. Butswat said 28-year-old Ogon specialised in fabricating and selling locally-made guns. He also identified him as a member of the Bobos cult operating in the state. Butswat stated, “The suspect, Victor Ogon, from Agudama-Epie, Yenagoa LGA, a notorious member of the dreaded Bobos cult, has produced and sold several locally-made guns to cultists and armed robbers in Bayelsa State.
