The Tigers won their second straight to improve to 3-5 overall and 2-1 in the CAA. The Seahawks lost their second in a row and stand 6-5 overall and 0-2 in the league heading into a Saturday, Jan. 23, matchup with Delaware’s Blue Hens at Trask Coliseum.

The Tigers improved to 2-5 and 1-1 on the season, while the Seahawks now stand 6-4 and 0-1. The two clubs return to the venue on Tuesday to conclude the back-to-back series with a 1 p.m. tilt.

The Seahawks, playing the second leg of a three-game road swing, improved to 4-3 after alternating wins and losses over the last five outings. The Spartans concluded their non-conference home slate with a 3-3 mark and next play at George Mason on Dec. 26.
