as they should. mike, from a security standpoint, they re not keeping in mind how close or how far off from the election. i ve covered a lot of these rallies. you have all kinds of andtics i the crowd. what was striking is how close in proximity it was to the candidate. thankfully, he was quickly rushed off stage. seems like he came back fairly quick afterwards, continued his remarks. that was perhaps a protester, someone angry in the crowd. i don t know for sure. one of the things that s been consistent about donald trump s rallies is the level of frustration and anger. they re a bit more of a robust crowd than a lot of other campaigns. it s not surprising there was that kind of reaction and see the reaction afterward and a lot of folks turned on the press as if somehow the press were at fault here, which seems par for the course for some of donald trump s rally. but the secret service did exactly what they re supposed to
