Eldon Richard Kilpatrick (88) of Duluth, Minnesota, passed away on November 24, 2023, with his family by his side. Eldon was born at Fort Snelling, Minnesota on May 9, 1935. After various relocations within the United States which he would call home, he finally landed at the University of Missouri - Columbia, where he graduated in 1958 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. With 4 years of combined service in the ROTC and the US Army Reserve Artillery Division (2nd Lieutenant), Eldon was employed at Minnesota Power in Duluth where he worked for 32 years. It was not until after his retirement from Minnesota Power that he established Eldon’s General Contracting and worked as an independent contractor for an additional 26 years. Eldon was a very generous and giving individual who would always put the needs of others in front of his own. He was well known and loved throughout the community, especially by his Menard’s “family” who he frequented often and remain
