About 200 people who gathered outside Columbus police headquarters Downtown on Tuesday night began marching through Downtown after a jury had found former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin guilty on all three charges against him in the death of George Floyd.
Shortly after the verdict, there were no crowds or groups Downtown. But by 6:30 p.m., what began as one lone man waving a Black Lives Matter flag at the corner of South High and Broad streets had grown to a group of a little over a dozen.
