Reporter hi chris and mary, most of the samples were actually taken from water sources from sinks and polices where you would wash your hands these test results showed that some of the Drinking Water sources, some of the water fountains at this Charter School came back with lead levels ten times above the acceptable limits. The testing took 324 water samples, a sample from every single water source in all eight nontraditional facilities within the Newark Public School district for this phase of testing. A quarter of those samples came back with elevated levels of led. 16 of them were from Drinking Water sources, 10 of those Drinking Water sources were the newark legacy Charter School. The epas acceptable level of lead and water is 15 parts per billion and some of the s
