COLUMBUS State Representatives Jay Edwards (R-Nelsonville) and Jason Stephens (R-Kitts Hill) on Tuesday held a press conference to introduce and discuss House Bill 101, legislation that would establish a County Jail Construction Funding Formula.

Sheriffs declare Level 1 snow emergencies
LIMA Many area counties declared a Level 1 snow emergency Thursday night, as heavy snow flurries blanketed the region.
Allen County isn’t one of them, as Sheriff Matt Treglia canceled his county’s Level 1 snow emergency at 10 p.m. Thursday after declaring it at 6:41 p.m.
Auglaize County canceled its Level 1 snow emergency as of 2:30 p.m. Friday.
Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey canceled his county’s Level 1 snow advisory at 7:30 a.m. Friday and declaring ia Level 1 at 7:15 p.m. Thursday.Auglaize County Sheriff Michael Vorhees declared a Level 1 at 7 p.m.
