It will be a long while before life returns to what was normal in florida, but there is some progress to report in the Recovery Efforts from Hurricane Irma. Here is the latest. The number of people without electricity is now 4. 3 million, though it could take ten or more days before power is fully restored. Airports have begun limited operations, and most curfews have been lifted. At least 24 deaths have been related to Hurricane Irma in the u. S. Three people died from Carbon Monoxide at a home in orlando. A portable gasoline generator was found running inside. In the hardhit keys, 25 of the homes were destroyed.
