June is known for a lot of things. In this country, without a doubt, the most popular are the first day of summer, Juneteenth and Pride month. While summer is a natural occurrence, the latter two are indicative of civil rights for Blacks and those in the LGBTQ+ community.
In these post-Covid times, many greater Riverdale restaurants are still struggling to meet the bottom line. To help those eateries that have survived, the organizers of Riverdale Restaurant Week are back for an encore.
The one-week event features 29 restaurants from the Kingsbridge and North and South Riverdale neighborhoods where many restaurants are still trying to recover from the impact of the pandemic.
