Five days after wildfire destroyed the town of Lytton in British Columbia killing two people and injuring several others, officials were still trying to account for some residents who were missing. No one apparently saw the fire coming. When they saw smoke, according to Mayor Jan Polderman, it took all of 15 minutes before the whole town was ablaze.

Terrance Lee Johnson, 53, of Salem, died at 5:37 AM Sunday, April 25, 2021, with loved ones gathered around, from his home in Salem.
Terry was currently employed at Whan Inc. in Leetonia where he was a diesel mechanic as well as a part-time driver. A 1986 graduate of Salem Senior High School and attended vocational school in Alliance for diesel mechanic training. Terry also went on to get millwright certification and numerous other work-related schooling. The opportunity was made available that he attended bartending school. He joined the US Marine Corp. in 1986.
Terry was always busy working, spending time with his family, or out with friends. The circle of his cherished friends never ended and grew larger every year. It is true that he was a bit stubborn and bull-headed at times, but could turn and show a joking and loving personality also. He was the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need.
