Political office seekers who fail to pick tickets in their original parties during primaries will no longer take refuge in APGA, a party official says.
The Chairman, All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA)in Abia State, Augustine Ehiemere, said the party will no longer issue tickets to “political party gamblers”.
Mr Ehiemere said this during an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Umuahia.
According to him, political office seekers, who fail to pick tickets in their original parties during primaries will no longer take refuge in APGA.

Umuahia, May 5, 2021 The Chairman, All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Abia, Rev. Augustine Ehiemere, says the party will no longer issue tickets to political party gamblers.
Ehiemere gave the hint in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Umuahia.
According to him, political office seekers, who fail to pick tickets in their original parties during primaries will no longer take refuge in APGA.
âThat era is over in APGA. These party gamblers, who will run to APGA because they could not get tickets in their original parties, will no longer be accommodated here.

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a socialite, Mike Eze, aka
Pretty Mike, for allegedly facilitating operations at the Cubana Nightclub in the Victoria Island area of the state.
The state Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, while parading 172 persons arrested for violating COVID-19 protocols during a raid on the nightclub, had ordered the arrest of the nightclub owner.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, who confirmed Eze’s arrest, said the socialite, who was a consultant for the club, allegedly facilitated its operations on the day it was raided by the police.
Adejobi said, “We picked him as a consultant for Cubana club. He allegedly facilitated the operations of the club on that day and he will be charged to court. We have our findings that he is the consultant/manager of that club. He has a case to answer.”
