at the fed doesn t have that authority that we could be any worse scenario to recover and come out of this stuff. one of the things that struck me, one of the gentleman from the other side asked you about ambitiously 4.5% growth. if we had that emphasis growth, it would still take five years. if we had three plus growth percent a year we re still be, take 10 years to get out of here. that s a lot of decades as far as i can tell. we re in the same position japan was in during the 80s. that s unacceptable to me. i m from ohio. we have cities in my district that are 10, 15% unemployment, crime is going up, all the social problems because people are out of work. what else could we do hear from the legislative side that could help drive that number down quicker? it s very difficult. no easy answer where we are. one suggestion i have come and i ve been trying to reiterate this is that even as you re looking at budget cuts and balancing the budget, all which is a very important
